About the Course
Dyagang, derived from the Wiradjuri word for fatherless boy, is a deeply transformative 6-week program designed to support men who grew up without fathers. This program aims to heal old wounds, foster personal growth, and help participants become the loving and open fathers, partners, and men they aspire to be. By ending the cycle of intergenerational trauma, Dyagang empowers men to reconnect with their roots, embrace their true selves, and build strong, healthy relationships.
Program Objectives:
Healing Old Wounds: To address and heal the deep-seated emotional scars left by the absence of a father figure.
Personal Growth: To foster personal development and self-discovery, helping participants realize their full potential.

Course Structure:
Week 1: Introduction and Self-Reflection
Overview: Introduction to the program and its goals. Encouraging participants to reflect on their experiences and the impact of growing up without a father.
Activities: Welcome circle, personal storytelling, and guided self-reflection exercises.
Week 2: Understanding Trauma and Healing
Overview: Exploring the nature of trauma and its effects. Introducing techniques for emotional healing and self-care.
Activities: Workshops on trauma-informed care, mindfulness exercises, and discussions on the healing process.
Week 3: Reconnecting with Cultural Roots
Overview: Reconnecting with cultural heritage and the wisdom of ancestors. Understanding the importance of cultural identity in the healing process.

Week 4: Building Emotional Resilience
